This is a awesome place to stay. Luxurious & rustic. Quite and affordable. Love staying there.
We stayed here 2 nights late September and really enjoyed it. Already made a reservation for next year. We had room 22. You walk in at street level and this room has direct access to the large balcony on the river side. It was nice sitting out there watching the barges and boats pass by. You can see lock and Dam #10 from the balcony. Our room had a bedroom and living room. The Inn is walking distance to the business district.
This hotel is amazing! Super cute rooms right on the Mississippi River by lock number 10! We stayed in the King bed room! Just the right size! Cozy, easy to get in and out, super friendly and accommodating staff, and so close to sooo many things to do. I’d actually travel again to the area just to stay at this hotel! This place is so much better than any 4-5 star place I have stayed at!
Enjoyed a lovely stay here when in Gutenberg. Kind staff. Convenient location. Clean rooms. There are also one level rooms.
Wonderful park along the River and Gutenburg Dam. Must be a mile long. Tables, BBQ grills and amazing view of the Mighty Mississippi
We went up for our first time fishing the Mighty Mississippi River for a daddy daughter fishing day! At 5am we headed out and got there at 7:15am. As we made our way down to the fishing shack we were greeted by a very kind man ready to help make this a very memorable day! He answered my questions on what I might need to catch some fish today and helped make sure we were prepared! We were ready to head out to the fishing barge! We got in the transport boat and away we went! A short 2 minute boat ride, When we got there, there was a few people already fishing the barge. Quickly, we were all talking and laughing and reeling in fish! The barge was very large and comfortable, it has picnic tables, chairs, roofed areas for shaded fishing, and even a heated enclosed shed where we stayed warm during the morning rain! Shortly after it started raining, the boat arrived at the barge to make sure we were all comfortable and get the fire started for us! We had an amazing day, and we would like to say thank you so much for the amazing service and experience! We will definitely be back soon! New favorite fishing spot!
Perfect in every aspect!! Clean, comfortable and cozy. Right in the river so you have a beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff. This was our first time here and We loved our stay so much that we booked a stay for next year and will hopefully come once a year.
